Join us for a scenic hike along the historic Kaaterskill Rail Trail to the overlook at Kaaterskill Falls, one of New York's most spectacular waterfalls. Beginning at the Mountain Top Historical Society, we'll follow the former Ulster & Delaware Railroad bed through beautiful Catskill forest to the observation platform overlooking the 260-foot, two-tiered falls. The trail is approximately 3 miles round trip on mostly level, well-maintained terrain, with a short moderate climb near the falls. We will not descend the stone staircase to the base of the falls.
